The European Health Data Space (EHDS) sets the legal, technical, and governance framework for electronic health data across all 27 EU member states. It governs the protection and use of patient data – permitting patients access to their data and some control over how it is shared.
It also governs how organistions can share data, for example for treatment or research purposes.
