More than 50 delegates from 22 countries met in Puglia, Italy, for the ECOO General Assembly and autumn meetings, 17-19 October. The meetings were hosted by ECOO’s three Italian members, the Associazione Laureati Ottica e Optometria (ALOeO), Federottica and the Società Optometrica Italiana (SOptI).
The meetings were an opportunity for ECOO members to demonstrate that the eye care sector in Europe continues to grow, with shared ambitions and the desire for mutual support.
Highlights included the election of three new members – from Estonian, Lithuania and Sweden – and presentations on ECOO’s new Blue Book 2025.
